Custom generation requires sign-in and costs 20 credits per successful run. The free sample downloads do not spend credits.
Use a template, then change the character, background or short greeting in the generator. Add a reference photo if you want to animate your pet or mascot. Describe one small action and a fixed camera so the loop is easier to inspect.
For a name or greeting, keep the wording short and check every frame. Generated letters can change shape. The ready-made downloads use fixed lettering; custom generations may differ.
Download the .gif file rather than taking a screenshot. Send it as a GIF or file in your messaging app, then check playback. Some apps turn images into still previews or impose their own file-size limits. On a phone, open the download and use your browser’s save or share menu.

Choose Make a custom greeting and edit the prompt. Upload a reference image to guide the character. Review text and identity in the downloaded result; the model may not preserve every detail.
